Yes, Thanks for the article. My brain recoils at trying to figure out FAR stuff! I'm not quite sure what the FAA is trying to do here since they are including more planes but cutting out quite a few that it would appear "should" be included. In the long run it seems a good move but I hope they find a way to get more Cherokees included.

BTW, you inspired me to make my first comment on an FAR!

Yeah, that is strange when you put it that way. Something to do with pre-stall airflow separation patterns in the region around the pitot?

The little black horizontal line at 57 CAS indicates identical CAS for IAS 50-52.5 when flaps are up. Odd.
