Much brighter/whiter light. Have ordered another bulb for the nosewheel landing light!

Yes. 5000 hour service is a bonus! Less amps…

Thanks so much, Kent. I was at Knots2U today and saw LED’s lined up next to incandescent and HID’s. I think the LED’s the best value….

Installed the LED’s this evening. Very bright/compared to incandescent! Install a little “tricky”…but not too bad. Have ordered another bulb for the nose landing light. Looking forward to the improved visibility both day and night.

Received email from AeroLED today. Their proper bulb is $350/each!!! AlphaBeams less, $260 each. WIll arrive Thursday/install on Friday…pirep forthcoming! Looking forward to the “extra” light! Have pulse setting on plane. My understanding is the pulse will work with the AlphaBeams. Will see…

The Teledynes were a little more than the Whelen, but seemed to match existing specs.

    Hi Kent,
I have a new set of bulbs in my future, please let me know how yours works out. I have been looking at Sunspot and Whelen.

    Best,
