With the plane leveled and measuring as carefully a practical it appears the thrust line is about 4 deg down and about 3 deg right...I say 'about' because I was measuring to the prop tips which of course are pitched. At any rate nothing jumps out as being an issue.

4 degrees down and 3 degrees right is what I need. Thx and have a great AirVenture.

Hey Brendan,
A response from Piper. Kent,The tech that sent the drawing to me said the engine mount is offset 3 degrees to the right. Will that be sufficient ?.

Thank you for this in-depth analysis. I'm sure we'll get the birds-eye schematic and you can proceed with your investigation. I, and many others, will be interested to see what you find out.

Long story. My airplane flies slightly left wing low with the ball centered* and will turn left without constant right yoke pressure. I've checked and adjusted every control surface, cable tension, nose wheel alignment, rudder, etc. according to service manual, no joy. I even leveled the airplane and measured half a dozen points on the wings and stabilator with a laser transit to see if anything was out of alignment; no smoking gun, all measurements were quite symmetrical. *The ball is centered when the plane is leveled on the ground. The engine was inspected for prop strike and the prop replace 600 hours before I bought it; if there was any airframe damage it wasn't logged and there is no visible signs. Wondering if the engine mount was tweaked and there's more/less side thrust than normal, however, prop, spinner, and cowl all visually look to align properly.
